Today’s first design inspiration is a set of posters that I found which celebrate the signature dishes, drinks and restaurants from around the world. The artist breaks down each city’s food staples and uses color and varying typography to illustrate each city’s culture. This project was started as a(n) (apparently very successful) Kickstarter campaign. These prints are available to buy here and are currently on sale if you’re interested! I’ve included Philadelphia (above), Pittsburgh and Los Angeles (below) here, but I recommend following the link to take a look at the rest of the cities as there’s some really cool looking cities, even if you’re not interested in purchasing one.
