When you hear balanced diet, you tend to think of the food pyramid, right? Well in this series “Ricettario: A Balanced Diet” meals are broken down into their individual ingredients and arranged in a way to literally balance them. The deconstructed dishes use individual elements as counterweight to each other on opposite sides. There’s a picture of minestrone, pizza margherita, and even apple pie. Each shot apparently took 12 hours to set up and capture and it definitely took a lot of attention to detail. The end result is pretty amazing though.
