Design Inspiration: 90’s Bliss

Today’s first design inspiration is actually the first piece that I’m sharing from my portfolio. The title of the project is Bliss in the 90’s. Some of you may have seen me share the actual project to my social media sites, but I wanted to share it with everyone. I’ve had this concept in my head for a while and it’s been a long time coming that I get to publish the final product. In between client projects, I would take a about a half hour to get my mind off of that project and work on my own personal project.

For this project, I took 10 of my favorite TV shows from the 90’s and created a poster for each year in the decade. These were the shows that I watched as a kid and I wanted to represent each one with the part of the show that made the show memorable to me. I then took that element and broke it down to it’s simplest form to create my own representation of how I remembered the show. I’m looking into getting a limited edition run of each design so let me know if you’d be interested. Did I miss any of your favorite shows?
