Today’s first design inspiration is a really cool hybrid product made from recycled materials. Skate Guitars as they’re called, are created from the hundreds of skateboards that are broken each day. I’ve seen recycled skateboards being made into phone covers and other cool ideas, but this has to be the most advanced creation I’ve seen come from recycled skateboards. Most skateboards that get broken just go to waste, but fortunately that’s not the case here. These boards were designed by Buenos Aires based artist Ezequiel Galasso. Every guitar is hand made from recycled boards which means each and every Skate Guitar is a truly unique product. Want to read more? Check out the full story here.
