Check out this infographic explaining the pollution in the ocean. To put it into perspective, in a 2011 cleanup, there were 940,277 pieces of food packaging which is about how many you would collect if you got take out for breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday for the next 585 years. Pretty disturbing, yes. Enough to stop me from eating seafod: unfortunately not.
