I just came across this interesting piece which looks at painting subjects from abstract artwork and imagines what an actual person would look like. The results are somewhat creepy, but interesting none the less. What the artist does is captures a picture of a similar looking person and uses a photo editor to turn that model into the person on the canvas. Make sure you check the rest of the images out here.
